What we believe.
THE BIBLE is God’s Word, inspired by God, and the foundation under Christian faith and behaviour. 2. Tim. 3,16-17; 1. Tess. 2,13; 2. Peter. 1,21.
GOD is one, but manifested in three Persons – The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, and is the Creator of Heaven and Earth, Creator and Saviour of man. 5. Deut. 6,4; Fil. 2,6; 2. Cor. 13,13; Gen. 1,27.
MAN is created in God’s image and was supposed to live in relationship with God. But through Adam’s transgression and fall sin entered the world and separated man from God. The Bible says, “All have sinned and are fallen short of the honour and glory of God”. Roman. 3,23; Gen. 1,27; Psalm. 8,3-6.
SALVATION is through faith in Jesus Christ only. Through His death at Calvary, He made it possible for all people to be born again and have eternal life, to get peace with God and be saved from eternal death. John. 3, 16; John 1, 12; Rom. 5, 1; John 3, 3-5; 1. John 5, 12.
DIVINE HEALING is for all people and is made possible through Jesus ́ death at Calvary. Through prayer and the laying on of hands you can experience divine healing. Es. 53, 4-5; Matt. 8, 16-17; James 5, 14-16.
WATER BAPTISM is a commandment from Jesus and is for believers only. It signals that the believer has been made one through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Matt. 28, 19; Rome 6, 4; Acts. 8, 36-39.
BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ and is for believers only. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance. Matt. 3, 11; John 14, 16-17; Acts 1, 8; Acts 2, 1-4; Acts 2, 38-39; Acts 19, 1-7.
BREAKING OF BREAD, PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP. The breaking of bread was started by Jesus as
an act of remembrance about what Jesus did for mankind on the cross. It reminds us that in Jesus there is forgiveness and cleansing from sin. Victory over sin, death, sickness, and slavery. It also reminds us that every believer is part of one body and therefore can have relationship with God and each other. Through Jesus ́ blood we may also approach God and pray to Him, convinced that He hears and answers us. 1. Cor. 11,23-30; Luke. 22, 14- 20; Acts 2, 42; Heb. 4, 16; Matt 7, 7.
THE RETURN OF OUR LORD was announced to the disciples by the angels when they said, “This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into Heaven”. When He returns “The dead in Christ shall rise first. Then they which are alive shall be called up together”. After the tribulation Jesus shall come back as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and together with His saints, he shall reign for 1000 years. John 14, 1-4; Acts 1,11; 1. Cor. 15,50-52; 1. Tess. 4,13-18; Rev. 5,10; 20,6.
ETERNITY is a reality, which all people must relate to. Man is an eternal creation and shall live forever together with God or away from God. Heaven and Hell are places that are real and eternal. The way to Heaven is faith in Jesus and His work. The Bible tells us “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,” Heb. 9,27; Rom. 6, 23; Rev. 19, 20; Matt. 25, 46.
